Katy & Shota are the sweetest and they had such, Such, SUCH a beautiful day! It made it even sweeter because Katy has a special connection with the Durham and used to intern there in college, so she knew all the ins and outs of the beautiful, historical building. The Durham has two suites for getting ready so a wedding party can literally get ready, have their ceremony, and the reception all at one location, which is a major bonus!
The Durham museum is the most beautiful, historical location you can find in Omaha, with high ceilings, gorgeous stained glass, and absolutely beautiful detaining throughout. It was SO fun photographing the wedding party in main atrium, as well as in the gorgeous vintage trains in the building. Katy had thoughtful details like a brooch bouquet with gold and maroon accents, and her and Shota's invites looked like vintage tickets which complimented the Omaha Union Station venue. Instead of having cake at the end of the night, everyone enjoyed the Durham's soda fountain and had floats.
You can tell by the way they enjoy each other's company that Katy & Shota will have years of happiness in front of them. Cheers to all the smiles and happiness in the future!
