Molly & Joshua had such a gorgeous wedding day at Mahoney State Park. The two are long-time sweethearts and have a special connection with the park. They love to go camping with their two boys, so it was the perfect spot to celebrate their love!


Mahoney State Park has a huge outdoor covered picnic area perfect for wedding celebrations. The couple was married there and partied the night away for their reception in the same location. Their son even got to do some DJ-ing! This outdoor venue was the perfect spot to bring in two food trucks, too, as well. The ladies were also able to have a room for getting ready in the main Peter Kiewit Lodge.


Advice if you want to have a wedding at Mahoney... make sure you can get cabins the same time as your event rental to make it easy. You'll likely need to schedule it out a year in advance, because they fill up quickly!
